Lounge club and compiler of the successful MUSIC FOR MODERN LIVING series, stayed in the Top 20 of the German Club Charts (DCC) for several weeks with his debut 12“ LATINICA WITCH. A lot of exciting things happened since then: Ian Pooley and Vincenzo included the track on their recent mix CDs, LATINICA WITCH also appeared on several high profile playlists in the UK, in France and in the USA (David Duriez, Samba La Casa, Paul Murphy etc.). In January und February 2001 RIVERA ROTATION was chosen as „act of the month“ on numerous European branches of Vitaminic, and now we have the appetizer for the compilation PETE RIVERA PRESENTS: FOR ADULTS ONLY which is called ON THE BEACH (6:00 PM).

The 12“ of ON THE BEACH includes serious remix business by Q-BURNS ABSTRACT MESSAGE (Eighth Dimension - Orlando/Florida/USA) and LA TAVERNE DU LAC (Audionautic/Lounge Records).

PETE RIVERA is currently working on new tracks and a full-length album. But first of all he will release his very own vision of an organic house- and latin-DJ-set as a mix CD and unmixed vinyl in May: PETE RIVERA PRESENTS: FOR ADULTS ONLY. On this album a classic latin track by CAL TJADER, a fresh boogaloo from a newcomer band like GRUPO X or captivating deep-house by DUBTRIBE SOUND SYSTEM sit smoothly next to the intriguiging electro-sound of LUOMO or MOOD II SWING’s party groove.
